- HEMI lifter and camshaft failure: a ticking HEMI is often a failing lifter. If you catch it early enough, the camshaft can sometimes be saved. Wait too long and it’s a bigger job.
- Broken exhaust manifold studs: Ram HEMI engines are known for snapped exhaust manifold studs, which cause a ticking exhaust leak. We extract broken studs regularly.
- 16-plug tune-ups: HEMI engines use two spark plugs per cylinder, 16 in all. We handle the full tune-up.
- Oil filter housing leaks: the 3.6L Pentastar V6 is known for leaks at the plastic oil filter housing. We can install an upgraded all-aluminum aftermarket housing so it doesn’t crack again.

- Why is my HEMI ticking?
The two most common causes are a failing lifter or a broken exhaust manifold stud. We diagnose which one it is. If it’s a lifter, catching it early can sometimes save the camshaft. - Why is my Pentastar V6 leaking oil?
The oil filter housing on the 3.6L Pentastar is a common leak point. We can replace it with an upgraded all-aluminum housing. - How many spark plugs does a HEMI have?
